The Best Decade For Irish Music?
| 09 March 2010
Given that St Patrick’s Day is nearly upon us, this week on the show we’ll be running a special debate to decide what was the best decade for Irish music; 70s. 80s, 90s or 00s. Four guests – JP O’Malley from State.ie, agent Vinny Ryan, Jamie Fox from Fight Like Apes and Take The Money And Run’s Neil Dooley – will be in to make an impassioned plea for their chosen era.
We want to you to help by voting for your favourite decade for Irish music! VOTE NOW
The results will be revealed this Thursday 7-8pm on State of Play with Phil Udell. On the night you can Text 51052 or Tweet @phantom1052 your favourite Irish tracks or musical moments from each decade.
